Elaine Gladys Smith

Elaine Gladys Smith, 90, went home to be with the Lord 3/21/2023, while peacefully surrounded by family. A retired Realtor and Property Manager, in Henderson, born Gladys Elaine Griffith on 10/3/1932 to Hugh and Josie Marie (Glenn) Griffith in Dierks, AR, grew up in Mountain Pines, AR.

In 1951 she moved to Southern CA where she remained until she moved to Henderson, NV in 1987. While in CA she was employed primarily in the electronics/computer industries in Quality Control and manufacturing management roles.

She loved to travel, she and her husband (together 47 years) visited every State in the USA, plus numerous countries, of which she enjoyed Australia the most. She loved camping, RV style, Reading, NASCAR, and Football. But most of all, Family and friends … God and Country.

She is survived by her husband, David Smith, three sons, Garry Blagg (Trish), Anaheim CA; Stephen Blagg (Carol), San Clemente CA; Ron Blagg (Neal), Jonesboro, AR; seven grandchildren, one step-grandchild; Christopher Blagg (Holly), Regina Hodel (Eric), Kevin Blagg (Cheryl), Brian Blagg, Meygan Caston (Casey), Alice Cantrell, Norm Blagg(Jennifer), Shelly Quinn (David); ten great-grandchildren and seven step-great-grandchildren ; Cody, Casey, Cory, Chris, Kylie, Cordell, Gracey, Emily, Daisy, Dex, Kyle, Nathan, Colton, Nichole, Hershel, Carrie, and Nick; and one great-great grandchild, Rex. She was predeceased by her parents, all four siblings; Hugh, Jr; Mary Louise; Ruth Virginia; and Robert Lee and three previous husbands.
