Candace Suzanne Gans

Candace Suzanne (Clawson) Gans was born in Wolf Lake, Indiana, August 9, 1947. Her family moved to Las Vegas, Nevada, from a US Air Force base in Japan when she was 17 in 1964. She continued her education in Nevada completing her senior year at Rancho High School and graduated in 1965. She then enrolled at NSU in 1966 (UNLV‘s first nursing school class) and graduated in 1967. She worked at Valley Hospital from 1973 to 1996 when she decided to leave. Candace was preceded in death by her parents Forrest and Ruby Clawson and her grandson Christopher S. Gans. She is survived by her husband Eugene J. Gans, 2 children, son Christopher J. Gans and daughter Kerri L. (Troy)Thornton,

Jennifer Suzanne Jo Gans, Michael Aaron Gans, Kelsie L. (Spencer) Nielsen, Conner J. (Holly) Thornton, and Colby G. (Genevieve) Thornton
