William F. Mapel, 80, passed away October 27, 2017 at his home in The Villages Fl.,previously from N Perry Village, Ohio, under the care of Hospice. His family was able to spend several days before hand with him. He loved playing golf and living in The Villages gave him the retirement he had hoped for. He leaves his loving wife Rosalie of 55 years, two daughters Rita Baumgartl (Larry), Terrie Thyret (Ed), sons Darik (Kathy), Mark (Holly), 14 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren, predeceased in death by our beloved son William Eric. Bill was a United States Army Veteran,stationed in LaGrandes, France. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to Cornerstone Hospice, 601 Casa Bella, The Villages, FL 32162.
