Vivian V. Williams, age 85 of The Villages, Florida passed away on February 11, 2019 at Cornerstone Hospice in the Villages after a long illness. He was born on March 23, 1933 in Wales and raised in Weymouth, Dorset, England.
He joined the Royal Air Force when he was 17 years old and served for 24 years before retiring and emigrating to the United States with his wife and two children in 1973.. He worked at the British Embassy before joining the International Monetary Fund in Washington D.C where he worked until his retirement in 1991. He lived in Vienna, Herndon and Sterling, Virginia until moving to The Villages in 1998.
Vivian is survived by his wife of 60 years, Pamela, son Daryl, daughter-in-law Tracy, grandsons Colton & John of Manassas, Virginia and son Gary, grandsons Conner and Chase, and granddaughter Chloe of Williamsburg, Virginia.
Vivian and his wife Pamela became proud citizens of the United States in 2001.
