The Villages, FL- Victoria Ann Lowery, 64, went to be with our Lord in Heaven on Saturday March 3, 2018, in The Villages, FL. As a family, our hearts are broken to have to say goodbye, for now, to such a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend.
Victoria, also known as “Mama Bear” by our son, and “Mama” by our daughter, was born in Fairmont, West Virginia to John and Flora Quarry on October 10, 1953. She was married on June 22, 1985 in MT. Vernon, Illinois.
Over her lifetime, she owned and operated a plant nursery for 7 years. She was the Office Controller for Service Masters in Dallas, Tx for 16 years, and sold real estate for 10 years, along with the lifelong job of raising her family.
Vicki loved oceans, walks on the beach, music, swimming pools, and working with plants and flowers. She loved to travel, stay at fancy hotels, dine on seafood, watch baseball, and play with her 2 grand-daughters.
Victoria is survived by her husband Lon, her daughter Nicole Wilson and her husband Jim of Norman, Oklahoma; her son Aaron Lowery and fiancée Ashlee Bennick of Dallas, Texas; her sister Sue Kuhns and husband Ernie of Kalkaska, Michigan; her sister Pam and her two grand-daughters Ava Jade and Mia Victoria.
I still remember that night we met, over 35 years ago, like it was yesterday. That one look with those big beautiful eyes and captivating smile. Well, you could have stuck a fork in me because I was done!
She was the best wife a man could ever have, the best mom a daughter and son could ever have, and the best Grandma our two girls could ever have. The best sister a sibling could ever have. The best friend we all had.
We will miss you sweetheart, Today- Tomorrow- Forever!!
There will be a celebration of Victoria’s life at Daytona Beach in the near future.
