Sandy was born on July 15, 1944, in Ravenna, Ohio, to the late Marion R. Wilkinson and Alberta K. Meyers. She is survived by her devoted husband, Eldred) Rosie) Rosenthal, her loving sister and brother, Sue Lane of The Villages, Florida, and Roger Wilkinson of The Villages, Florida.
A retired school teacher, Sandy dedicated 43 years of her life to educating and inspiring young minds. Her patience, compassion, and love of learning left a lasting impact on countless students throughout her career. Outside of the classroom, Sandy embraced life with joy and creativity. She was an avid pickleball player and golfer, a gifted stained-glass and seashell artist, and someone who delighted in all things turquoise. She treasured time with her beloved Husky, Nikki, and found great happiness in the friendships and close-knit community she built around her.
The family would like to extend heartfelt gratitude to the many wonderful friends and neighbors who have offered love, support, and kindness during this difficult time.
A celebration of Sandy's life will be announced at a later date.
