Robert Henry Huthmacher Jr.

Robert Henry Huthmacher of Mount Dora, FL passed away on Friday March 21st at the age of 83. He was born on July 6, 1941 in Charleston, South Carolina where he grew up until the age of 10 and moved with his parents to Jacksonville, Florida. He attended High School at Jean Ribault High where he graduated in 1959 and immediately joined the U.S. Air Force where he was in telecommunications achieving the rank of Tech Sergeant he retired in August of 1979.

Survived by: His wife, Myrna Huthmacher and his Sons, Robert D. Huthmacher, John W. Huthmacher, Ronald E. Huthmacher, David L Huthmacher, along with his bonus children Debra Potts Foxworth, Michelle Potts Dotto, Michael E. Potts, Bryan R. Potts and 19 Grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren Preceded in death by daughter Robin D. Huthmacher Branco, bonus son Kenneth D. Potts and his Parents Robert Henry Huthmacher, Sr., Kathleen Eleanor Fail and brother William Scott Huthmacher.

Memorial Service for Robert Henry Huthmacher Jr., will be held at East Lake Community Church on March 29, 2025 at 10am. Internment will take place at the Florida National Cemetery in Bushnell, Florida [date: TBA].

In lieu of flowers, the family is asking for donations in Robert’s name to the American Heart Association.
