

Joe dedicated more than three decades of his professional life to Tinnerman/Eaton Corporation, where his commitment and ingenuity were recognized with the awarding of two U.S. patents. His contributions reflected a deep dedication to his field and a lasting impact on those he worked with.
After moving to Florida, Joe worked at The Palms Golf Course at Hacienda Hills Golf & Country Club for over 20 years. He was known as “The Marshall” of The Knights of the Unstable Table.
Joe is survived by his wife of 70 years, Dorothy Janet “Jan” Hopson Dillon; four sons: Joe, David & Jeanne, Doug & Sonya, and Bill & Deanna; 14 Grandchildren and their spouses; 16 Great Grandchildren, with another on the way; his brother, Ronald E Dillon and family, and extended family.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Joseph and Susanna Dillon.
Family and friends may celebrate their memories of Joe privately with Jan in the coming months. Per his wishes, Joe was cremated and no formal services will be held.
