John (Jack) Connolly passed away on January 5, 2018 in The Villages, Florida at the age of 77. Jack was born in Elizabeth, NJ in 1940 and attended Ohio State University. He enlisted in the Navy and was trained as a meteorologist and was stationed in Suitland, MD for four (4) years. After he was discharged, he worked for WYRE radio station in Annapolis, Bay Country radio station on Kent Island, and the Penny Saver as an advertising sales representative until his retirement in 2002. He moved to The Villages later that same year. Jack is survived by his beloved wife of 32 years, Joanne, his son John (Kelly) Connolly, daughter Dawn Jones, and three (3) step-children, Donna Bowen, Dale Winters, Sharon Clymer and 6 grandchildren. Jack was an avid reader and loved to play golf. He will be missed by all those who knew him.
