James Webster Shaffer

It is with great sadness that the family of James Webster Shaffer announces his passing on June 11, 2018, at the age of 77 years. He was born on November 27, 1940 in Fort Worth, Texas. Jim was an Eagle Scout, Boy Scout Master and served on the Eagle Scout Board, and also coached Little League. He served in the Army Corps of Engineers. He earned an Associates Degree in Accounting and Business Administration. Jim was a rebel at heart who loved life, golfing, music, hunting and fishing. Jim was predeceased by the love of his life, his wife Barbara Smith Shaffer. Dad/Grandpa is survived by his three children, Abbey Fretz (Nathan Fretz), Amanda Shaffer (Logan Washington), and Justin Shaffer and five grandchildren, Jack, Miles, Jaliyah, Halsey and Harper.
