Cynthia Putnam Kuckel

Cynthia (Putnam) Ludwig Kuckel, 76, of Summerfield, Florida, passed from this life on March 22, 2017 at Sylvia's Hospice House in Ocala. Born and educated in CT, Cindy was a member of the Army National Guard, 141st Medical Unit, and was employed for 36 years by The Metropolitan District in Hartford. Upon retirement, Cindy and husband Bill moved to Del Webb Spruce Creek County Club. Her life was filled with volunteer involvement in numerous charities and clubs. She touched many lives with her service and kindness. She was proud of her work with The Veterans Club, Community Watch, and many clubs and activities that she helped initiate at DWSC. Cindy leaves her brother, step-children and in-laws. as well as four grandchildren, in Ct and Az. She was predeceased by her beloved husband Bill in 2006. All Faiths Cremation is in charge of arrangements. A "Celebration of Cindy's Extraordinary Life" will be held at a future date at Del Webb Spruce Creek. Memorial donations in Cindy Kuckel's name may be made to The American Cancer Society, Hospice of Marion County, or Unitarian Universal Fellowship of Marion County for charitable projects. The world has lost a shining star which will shine on in the hearts and memories of all her knew her.
