Barbara "Bobbie Jo" Joann Maclarty

Barbara Joann MacLarty, “Bobbie Jo”, age 79, passed away peacefully on Friday, March 14th, 2025 in Leesburg, FL. She was born August 17th, 1945 in Metamora, MI to Arthur and Ethel Clark. She was a 1963 graduate of Lapeer West High School. She married Archie MacLarty on October 5th, 1968 being married for 56 years. She enjoyed home decorating and antiques. She also enjoyed traveling and visiting family and friends. Everyone remembers her infectious smile. She is survived by her husband Archie, brother Don (Linda) Clark, son Arthur (Anne) MacLarty, daughter Carlene (Jon) Chiariello, son Neil MacLarty, son Jamie MacLarty, and many grandchildren and great grandchildren. Family and friends whose lives Barbara touched are invited to the Morrison Methodist Church in Leesburg, FL at 1pm on May 1st, 2025 for a memorial service and reception. Please wear something red (her favorite color). A stream option will be available for those unable to attend.
