Alberto de Jesús Farradas of Sorrento, Florida passed away on the early morning of Saturday, April 19, 2025 at the age of 77. He was born on January 3, 1948, in Havana, Cuba. Alberto lived in Cuba until the age of 14 when he was sent over without his parents in Operation Pedro Pan. This was a major sacrifice and a leap of faith his parents took to keep him safe. They would reunite with their son two years later in the states.
Alberto was a hardworking and dedicated professional who took great pride in providing for his family. More than anything, he was a family man—devoted, kind, and loving. Alberto also enjoyed family get togethers with friends and appreciated every single one of them.
He is preceded in death by his parents Alberto and Amelia Farradas, and his wife Nelsa Farradas.
He is survived by his daughter and son-in-law Veronica and John Moser, granddaughters Gabriella and Isabella Moser, his sister
Arlene Calbo and nephews Javier and Mario Paredes. They will all continue to honor his legacy by living their lives with the same family values he instilled in them.
The family would like to thank Cornerstone Hospice for the care and compassion they showed Alberto and family in his final days.
Alberto prearranged his cremation and was adamant about not having a service.
