Rebecca Lynn McNeill

Born December 15, 1980, Rebecca was an avid hiker, an adventurer at heart, and someone whose joy for life was matched only by her deep generosity. She had a strong Christian faith and a gift for making people feel seen, supported, and genuinely happy. She volunteered often, gave freely, and brought light wherever she went.

Rebecca is survived by her loving mother, Avis; her beloved son, Joshua; her sister, Charlene; her partner, Scott Hawes; her two loyal dogs, Leia and Izzy; and a wide circle of friends who will miss her spirit every single day. She was preceded in death by her father, Billy, whom she loved dearly, and by her grandmothers, Elisabeth McCarty and Alma Harding.

Those who knew Rebecca will remember her as a bright soul—unbelievably generous, full of laughter, and always ready to help someone in need. Her strength and presence made everything better, and she will be deeply missed.

Celebration of Life Services will be on Sunday, April 13, 2025 at the Springbrook Park, 1561 Dalton Street, Alcoa, TN. from 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m.
