Paul Brown

Wayne was born on June 7, 1941 to Walter and Ruby Lee Brown in Dalton, Ga. After high school Wayne enlisted in the United States Navy. In 1959, while serving in San Diego he met the love of his life, Carolyn Sue Brown. They married on January 28, 1962 in Pasadena, Ca. at the Chapel of Roses. Wayne and Sue raised their three sons Brian, Keith, and Kirk in Montrose, Ca. In 2002, Wayne retired from ABM Engineering and spent his time fishing, hunting, and traveling. He enjoyed telling stories, helping people, and spending time with his loving family.

Wayne was predeceased by his parents Walter and Ruby Lee; siblings Ruth (Tom), Gene (Irene), Billy, Howard (Claudia), Travis, and Glenn; and grandson Cooper. He is survived by his loving wife, Sue, of 61 years; sons Brian (Aline), Keith (Jennifer), and Kirk. He is also survived by his beloved grandchildren Seth, Kayla, Payton, Tallon, Gracie, Brayden, Regan, and Justin; Sisters-in-Law Inez and Brenda; and numerous nephews and nieces.

A Celebration of Life will be held at Mt. Rachel Baptist Church on Thursday, March 30 with a receiving of friends at 5 pm and service at 6 pm.
