U.S Army SFC Lonnie Wayne Bearden age 70, of Greeneville, TN lost his battle with cancer and passed peacefully at home surrounded by family on February 1st, 2025. Memorial service will be held at The VFW Post 1990 at 70 Harlan St, Greeneville, TN 37745 from 6PM to 7PM and gathering and food from 7PM to 8PM on Saturday Feb 8th, 2025. Graveside service at Greenelawn Memory Gardens 4159 Asheville Hwy, Greeneville, TN on Sunday Feb 9th, 2025, at 2PM. Mr. Brian Hensley will be Officiating the service. Lonnie was born on Dec 5th, 1954, in Port Arthur, TX to Mary E Bearden- Collier. SFC Lonnie W Bearden served our country in the U.S. Army for 23 years. He was a member of the VFW Post 1990.He was preceded in death by his mother and father Mary E. and Paul A. Collier of Orange, TX. SFC Bearden is survived by his wife Kimberly K Johnson-Bearden, of Greeneville, TN and Children Charlina M. Greenlee-Brown of Roundup, Montana, Stephanie M. Bearden-Malone of Chuckey, TN and Lonnie E. Bearden of Greeneville, TN. One uncle Gene Bearden of Atlanta, TX. Sisters Debra A. Wise of Orange, TX and Mary A. Parker of Beaumont, TX. Father-in-law Billy R Johnson, Sister-in-law Traci L. Jackson of Sevierville, TN. Grandchildren Mayson E. Miller, Trinity M. Miller, Skylar A. Miller, Bryce W. Bearden, Kiara, Mac, Maddie. Many nieces and nephews.
