Claude Carl Boone

Carl served 4 years with the United States Air Force where he was stationed in Okinawa, Japan. After his service, he worked 35 years for the United States Postal Service as a letter carrier.

Carl loved playing and singing bluegrass music with his family. He also enjoyed rock-n-roll music. He had a passion for motorcycles and enjoyed riding with his daughter.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Claude and Grace Boone, his loving wife of 28 years, Phyllis (King) Boone, brothers Jimmy and Bobby Boone. He is survived by his daughter, Sandy Boone, sister Linda Jones (Jack), sister Nancy Holbert, sisters-in-law Carolyn (Sue) King, Brenda Bradford, Donna Norton and many nieces and nephews.

A Military Service will be held at 2PM, October 11, 2023 at the East Tennessee Veterans Cemetery, 2200 E. Governor John Sevier Highway, Knoxville, TN 37920.
