Judy Ann Fairchild

Judy Ann “Huwe” Fairchild born December 12, 1945 entered into the presence of the Lord at the age of 79 on February 15, 2025 after a long battle with Parkinson. She was a life long Lutheran and a devoted follower of Christ.

Judy was born in Lily South Dakota and raised in Pacific Washington. She graduated from Auburn High School and attended Pacific Lutheran University. She moved to Kennewick with her Husband and children in 1977. She worked for the Kennewick School District as a Para Professional. She was a Sunday School Teacher for a number of years at First Lutheran Church in Kennewick. After retirement she spent a number of years assisting with the Meals on Wheels program delivering food to those in need.

Judy is survived by her Sister Arlyus Vanatta (South Dakota), Husband of 59 years Marion Fairchild, two Children Mitchell Fairchild and Amy Simmons, Grand Children Viola Simmons, Levi Simmons, Jessica Fairchild, Kiera Fairchild, Timothy Simmons, Richard Simmons, and GiGi Simmons and four great Grand Children. She was reunited with her Parents Gustave and Marie Huwe, Brother Gene Huwe and Sister Gayle Wagoner in Heaven.

We rejoice in the promise of eternal life and take comfort in knowing that Judy is resting in the presence of the Lord. She will be greatly missed by her family friends and colleagues. A Celebration of Judy's life is planned for Spring. She is now at peace in the arms of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
