Helen Louise Kuhn

Helen L. Kuhn, a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and cherished member of her community, passed away peacefully with her family by her side on September 11, 2026, in Ellensburg, Washington.

Helen was born on January 7, 1942, in Redwood City, California, to Aldo and Olga Bastasini.

She was the beloved wife of David and a loving mother to their children, Carri, Julie, and Tony. Helen and David were longtime residents of Mercer Island, where they raised their family and created many wonderful memories before retiring to Ellensburg in 1992.

Helen is survived by her daughter, Julie; her son, Tony, and his wife, Liz; four grandchildren, Tony, Jessica, David, and Jonathan; and three great-grandsons, Louis, Henry, and Levin.

Helen found great joy in spending time with her family. She also enjoyed crafting with her craft club, gardening, baking, and taking trips to the casino. She will be remembered for her warmth, creativity, and generous spirit, as well as the love she shared with those around her. She will be deeply missed and fondly remembered by all who knew and loved her.
