

Carol was born on June 19, 1946, in Las Vegas, New Mexico to Zane and Dorothy Hall. She is survived by her husband Richard Elledge; her children, Evelyn (Joe) Lusignan, Shane (Paula) Elledge, Clinton (Kerri) Elledge; her siblings, Helen McLennan and Joseph Hall; five grandchildren; and six great grandchildren.
Family was at the heart of Carol's life. She cherished time spent with her husband of 62 years, her children and their families,and beloved family pets, In addition to her deep love for family, she will also be remembered for her quick wit, intelligence, creativity, resilience, and passion for everything the mountains could offer - from the wildflowers, blue birds, and seeking out elk herds, to singing Marty Robbins songs by the campfire until the last embers remained.
Carol also worked throughout much of her adult life and was especially proud of her accomplishments as a contract specialist at Battelle before retiring. She often spoke fondly of the numerous friendships she had over her working years.
Carol's life was truly one filled with love and laughter. She will be deeply missed by all who loved her and the lifetime of lasting memories will be cherished.
No service is planned. Her family will gather to spread her ashes at one of her favorite mountain locations
