William David Willis

William David “Dave” Willis passed away in Slidell, LA on Wednesday, December 26, 2018. He was 68. Dave was born in Ohio on March 6, 1950 to Glen and Vivian Willis, and he served as the Chief Administrator of the Eye Surgery Center of Louisiana for over 20 years. He enjoyed spending time with his family, particularly his seven grandchildren. Truly, to know Dave, was to love him.

Dave is survived by his wife, Fran Willis; his children, Jeremy Willis, Nicole Neil, Monica and Eddie Mentel, Genna and Jon Speed, and Jack Burnett; siblings Jerry, Terry and Linda; and by grandchildren Trey, Easen, Max, Colton, Emmi, Ethan, and Julianna. He was preceded in death by his parents, his sister Mary Anne and brother Tom.

Dave’s life will be celebrated in the coming weeks. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the National Kidney Foundation.
