William John Wightkin Jr.

on November 20, 1953 to William John Wightkin and Joyce Ritter Wightkin. He is survived by his wife,

Lauren Moecklin Wightkin, his daughter Samantha Wightkin, brother Donald Wightkin (Sally), sisters

Margaret Simms (Steve), Joyce Sullivan (Don), Stephanie Strauss (Lee), and his two stepsons Stefan Culotta (Sarah) and Aron Culotta (Alexis). He was the beloved "PB" of Luca, Liva, and Vera Culotta, and adored by many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, his daughter Shelly Wightkin, his brother George Wightkin, and his sister Kathryn Wightkin.

As a life long avid golfer, Bill had a passion for the game, and enjoyed the camaraderie of other like-minded players.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at noon on Friday, June 14, at Our Lady of Prompt Succor Catholic Church, 2320 Paris Road, Chalmette, La. Visitation from 10:00 am until service time at the church. Interment at a later date.
