Born July 22, 1950 in St. Louis, Missouri to the late John Wheatley and Pauline Wheatley. He was preceded in death by his wife of 39 years, Marie “Dee” Wheatley and his brother John Wheatley.
Bill is survived by his 3 children, Chrissie Borel (Stephen), Rebecca Wheatley, and John Wheatley (Andrea); grandchildren, Bethany Acosta (Marco),Kaitlyn Borel, Mercede Tran, David Nason, Megan Nason, Carver Nason, John Wheatley Jr. and Ainsley Wheatley; great grandson, Ezra Acosta.
Bill loved his family, the New Orleans Saints, playing guitar, fishing and was especially proud of his service in the US army. A private family service will be held at a future date.
