William Alvin Motes

Beloved husband of the late Janet Rodrigue Motes for 62 years. Devoted father of Wendy Motes (Marc Fambro) and William David Motes (Carmen V. Motes). Adoring grandfather of William Patrick Motes and Alyssa Marie Motes. Son of the late William Marks Motes and Pauline Edna Dillion Motes. Brother of Stephen Boone (Judy) and the late Jeffrey Boone.

Al was a graduate of Warren Easton High School and proudly served his country in the US Army from August 1956 until July 1962. He was in Company "B', 1st Battalion, 11th Armored Cavalry Regiment.

A Memorial Visitation will be held at St. Catherine of Siena Catholic Church, 105 Bonnabel Blvd., Metairie, La 70005, on Saturday September 16, 2023 from 11:30 am until 1:00 pm followed by a Mass at 1:00 pm.
