William Andrew Dupre Jr.

He was born on October 28th 1944 in Destrehan, Louisiana where he grew up. He graduated from Destrehan High School then worked as a customer service representative for AT&T. He was actively involved with his local Freemasons lodge. William also served our country proudly in the United States Army.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Jaylene Gail, his stepdaughter, Brandi Brantley, his parents, William Andrew Sr. and Delores M Dupre, his sister, Barbara (Darrell) Harrison, and his brothers, Glenn (Angela) Dupre and Kerry P. (Barbara) Dupre.

He is survived by his sisters, Lydia (Phillip) Brabham and Sandra (Wallace) North, his stepchildren, Jerry (Shere) Riley, Jr., Brian (Terra) Riley, and William (Earica) Riley, and his grandchildren, Tyler (Elie) Riley, Michael Davis, Ethan (Trent) Riley, and Marisa (Noah) Riley. He is also survived by his trusted long time caregiver, Cindy Barlett, as well as many other loving relatives and friends.

The family would like to thank the VA, Mrs. Margaret, Leading Home, and St. Joseph Hospice for the care and compassion they showed William in his final days.
