Wayne "Truck" Douglas Macaluso

Wayne “Truck” Douglas Macaluso passed away on Monday, September 26, 2016 at Canon Healthcare Hospice in Jefferson, LA. Beloved husband of Joyce Elizabeth Hardy Macaluso for thirty-six years. Loving father of Paul Macaluso, John Macaluso, and Mark Macaluso (Ruth). Grandfather of Jenna Macaluso, Averi Macaluso, Landon Macaluso, Janel Macaluso, Ashlyn Macaluso, and Miah Macaluso. Son of the late Raymond Joseph Macaluso and the late Juanita Dodds Macaluso. Brother of Bruce Macaluso, David Macaluso, the late Michael Macaluso, and the late Stephen Macaluso. Also survived by many other loving relatives and friends. Wayne was a police officer for the Jefferson Parish Sherriff’s Office for over seven years, and later became the head of a security team in the Garden District of New Orleans. He was an avid fan of LSU sports and the Yankees, and was a WWII enthusiast that could answer any question you threw at him. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Memorial Service at First Baptist Church, 270 Oak St., Harahan, LA 70123, on Saturday, October 1, 2016 at 12 PM.
