Telly Gary

Telly “Bear” Gary entered eternal rest on June 7, 2023, at his home surrounded by family. He was a lifelong resident of New Orleans, La. He was a very kind and quiet person and worked at Goodwill Industries. He is preceded in death by his loving mother, Cynthia Gary. He is also survived by a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, and many friends.

Relatives and friends of the family, also members of Second Baptist Church, Second Nazarene Baptist Church, Ashbury Methodist Church, Compassus Hospice and The Gayle & Tom Benson Cancer Center/Ochsner Foundation Hospital are invited to attend a Memorial Celebration on Saturday, June 17, 2023, at 10:00am at Greater Asia Baptist Church, 3708 St. Bernard Ave., New Orleans, LA 70122. Pastor Bennie Scott, Rev. Anthony Ruffins, officiating.
