Ronald Joseph Reed

Ronald was born to Ronald and Conchita Reed on April 16, 1951 in New Orleans, LA. When Ronald was younger, his favorite activities were swimming, bike riding, reading. Later in life he became an avid history buff and loved his Saints’ football. He attended St. Stephen’s School and Fortier High School.

He loved sharing the love and warmth of our Savior, Jesus Christ, with as many people as possible. Ronald’s strength and hope came from his trust in our Lord’s promises. We will miss his smile, his humor, his independent spirit and his kindness.

Ronald joins his Father and Mother, Ronald and Conchita Reed, his sisters, Margaret Brown and Magda Alfonso, and brother, Michael Reed, in Heaven. Ronald is survived by many loving family members, including his sister, Marie Balfour of Cape Elizabeth, ME; son, Edgar Mitchell Blanton, three grandchildren; and nephew, Brett Balfour and many cousins.
