Robert John Giarratano

Robert “Robbie” John Giarratano departed from this life peacefully on Sunday, November 6, 2016 while surrounded by loved ones at his home in Kenner, LA. Robbie was 47 years old, and a lifelong resident of Kenner, LA. Beloved husband of Kelly Parker Giarratano, with whom he shared a life together of over 20 years and 13 loving years of marriage. His wife dedicated her life to honor their vows through sickness and in health; her strength throughout Robbie’s sickness was beyond measure. Son of Barbara and Joseph Giarratano Sr. of Kenner, LA. Brother of Sharon Giarratano Martinez and Joseph Nicholas Giarratano, Jr. Also survived by many other loving nieces, nephews, cousins, and other relatives and friends. Drumming and music were Robbie’s passions, and he played in several local bands during his adulthood. Robbie was also a fan of sports, which he played throughout his childhood years. Relatives and friends are invited to attend his Memorial Service on Saturday, November 12, 2016 from 1 PM to 4 PM at his brother, Joseph Giarratano Jr.’s house, 4816 Rebecca Blvd., Kenner, LA 70065. Loved ones and friends are encouraged to bring their fondest memories and stories of Robbie to share at his memorial service.
