

Norman was born on October 5, 1940 in New Orleans, Louisiana to Earl August Regouffre and Beryl Agnes Morvant Regouffre. He was a resident of Metairie, LA for 45 years. He graduated from St. Aloysius High School in 1958, joined and proudly served in the U.S. Navy for 4 years. Norman retired from Boh Brothers Construction Company after 40 years and was a member of the International Union of Operating Engineers Local 406.
He was happily married to his wife, Kathleen, for 61 years. Norman made many life-long friends and memories through the activities he enjoyed which included: fishing, hunting, skeet shooting, and golfing. He was a member of the St. John and Grand Ridge Golf Clubs for many years. Norman was also a parishioner of St. Phillip Neri Church in Metairie for many years.
He was preceded in death by his father, Earl August Regouffre; mother, Beryl Morvant Regouffre DiLiddo; and twin brother, Arnold Alphonse Regouffre.
Norman is survived by his loving wife, Kathleen Cazaubon Regouffre; daughters, Pamela Regouffre Folse (Christopher) and Rhonda Regouffre Hodo (William); son, Norman Earl Regouffre; grandsons, Everett Folse, Justin Folse, Garrett Folse, Brennan Folse, Dylan Regouffre, Joshua Hodo; granddaughter, Kaitlin Folse; sister, Earlyn “Noonie” Regouffre Carmody (James); and sister-in law, Gail Fox Regouffre. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and other loving friends and family members.
The family would like to thank Notre Dame Home Health, all his Ochsner doctors over the years, Ochsner Hospital Kenner, especially Dr. Ben and the ICU staff, and St. Joseph’s Hospice for their care, compassion, and support.
Memorial services will be held on Saturday, October 22nd at Garden of Memories Funeral Home & Cemetery, 4900 Airline Dr., Metairie, LA 70001. Visitation will begin at 10:00 am followed by a Catholic Mass at 12:00pm (noon). A special thanks to Reverend Mike Kettenring for the celebratory Mass honoring Norman. A private burial service will be held at a later date.
