Norman Joseph Ducote, age 74, passed away peacefully in his home in Pearl River, LA on Monday, August 14, 2017, surrounded by his loving family. Norman was born in New Orleans, LA and was a true Louisiana sportsman at heart. He loved Tulane and LSU Baseball, and reminiscing with his friends about their time playing football for Nicholls High School. Norman loved sharing the old videos of football practice with his friends, and if he wasn’t reliving the good times with his friends he could be found fishing in his pond. Above all else, Norman loved spending time with his family, and he will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him. Norman is survived by his beloved wife, Kathleen “Kathy” Migliore Ducote, and their children, Lisa Ducote Schell Saitta (husband, Michael) and Ronald Joseph Ducote (wife, Jennifer). He is also survived by his grandchildren, Chad Schell (wife, Erin) and Kelli Schell, his great-grandchildren, Hannah Tyrney and Logan Schell, his brother-in-law Gary E. Migliore (wife, Carol), his sister-in-law, Patsy Ducote, his nieces, Sherie Migliore, Brenda Ducote Stigler, and Debbie Ducote Howell, his nephews, Gary R. Migliore (wife, Stacie) and Roy C. Migliore (wife, Michele), and his uncle, Argie Norman. Norman was preceded in death by his parents, Riley Joseph Ducote, Sr. and Rita Norman Ducote, and his brother, Riley Joseph Ducote, Jr. Norman is also survived by many other loving relatives and friends. Family and friends are invited to attend a Memorial Mass at St. Margaret Mary Church, 1050 Robert Blvd, Slidell, LA 70458 on Wednesday, August 23, 2017 at 11:00 AM.
