Norma Ford Lowery

Beloved wife of the late Manuel James Lowery for sixty-four years, and loving mother of Mary Beth Butcher, Bruce Lowery, Anne Lowery Tilton, and the late Lynne Anne Lowery.

Grandmother of James, Jonathan, and Jason Butcher, Ashley Tilton Beaudoin, and Edward Lee Tilton V.

Great-grandmother of Caroline, Vivienne, Nathan, Katelyn, Wyatt, Beau, Owen, Ashley, and Lexie.

Daughter of the late Cornelius L. Ford and Norma Meyers Ford. Sister of Donald R. Ford and the late Cornelius L. Ford.

Norma enjoyed life, and lived life on her own terms. She was determined to watch her great-grandchildren open Christmas presents one more time, and was always devoted to her family. She retired from Ochsner Medical Center after working many years as the family liaison. She had an adventurous spirit when she was younger, that continued throughout her life as she travelled with her late husband and spent her free time playing bingo and going to the casinos. Norma’s family wishes to express their sincere gratitude to Legacy Hospice for the loving care offered to Norma and her family during this difficult time.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Memorial Service at Most Holy Trinity Church, 501 Holy Trinity Dr., Mandeville, LA 70471 (New location – off of Judge Tanner Blvd.) on Wednesday, January 31, 2018 at 12:00 Noon. Visitation with the family will begin at 11:00 AM.

In lieu of flowers, contributions to a charity of your choice or Masses in Norma’s honor would be appreciated.
