Nathalie Galle Forstall

Nathalie Galle Forstall, age 91, passed away on Monday, June 5, 2017 in New Orleans, LA, surrounded by her loving family. Nathalie was preceded in death by her husband, Warren A. Forstall, Sr., as well as her parents, James Galle and Alma Olivard Galle, and her sister, Gloria Galle Forstall. Nathalie is survived by her sister, Annabelle Serpas. She is also survived by her eight children, Michelle Jones (Bryan), Warren A. “Chip” Forstall, Jr. (fiancée, Dawn Casey), Paul Forstall (Jeanne), Phillip Forstall (Annette), Leslie Fritscher (Glen), Christopher Forstall (Paulette), Nathalie Brasher (John Paul), and Yvette Forstall. She is also survived by twenty grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren, as well as many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Nathalie’s greatest joy in life was her eight children, to whom she dedicated her life. Nathalie also owned and operated Forstall Art Supplies for over thirty years and traveled the world extensively. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her. The family wishes to thank the staff and residents at Vista Shores Assisted Living Community for the loving care and attention they gave to Nathalie during the last year. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Memorial Mass on Friday, June 9, 2017 at 12:30 PM at St. Pius X Catholic Church, 6666 Spanish Fort Blvd., New Orleans, LA 70124. Visitation with the family will begin at 10:30 AM. Interment will be private at a later date.
