It is with great sadness that the family of Matthew Stacy Carl announces the sudden death of their son on December 11, 2017, at the age of 33. He was born in Galveston, Texas but was raised and educated in New Orleans. Matt is survived by his parents Bill and Erin Carl, his grandparents Ed and Phyllis Stacy, his uncles Mark Stacy (Debbie), Eric Stacy (Kerry), and Greg Stacy (Joan LeBlanc), and his aunt Linda Donat (Larry). He is also survived by his cousins Scott Stacy, Kelly Stacy, and Nick Lewis. He is preceded in death by his grandparents Ivan and Isabel Carl.
