Louis James Marchetta Jr.

Louis James Marchetta Jr., March 18-1960 – December 1, 2017. Louis has earned his wings and is now seated with our Savior Jesus Christ. He was a loving, caring and giving son, brother, father, husband, and grandfather. He is now home with the late Henrietta Richardson, Louis Marchetta Sr., Florence Marchetta, Louis Marchetta IV, Albre Marchetta and Gayle Dorsey. Louis is survived by six children, Louis Marchetta III (Jennifer, and 5 children), Christopher Marchetta (Jennifer, and 3 children), Catherine Perrin (Craig, and 4 children), Taisha Marchetta (Mike, and 2 children), Nicki Marchetta (and 6 children), and Victor Marchetta Sr. (Shannon, and 3 children). He is also survived by his sisters, Joyce Vaught (Skip), Jean Morrison, and Amelia Marchetta and a brother, Michael Marchetta (Cathy), as well as twenty-three grandchildren, two great-grandsons, and a slew of nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews. A memorial service will be held at Hosanna Church, 2215 Barataria Blvd, Marrero, LA 70072, on Saturday, December 9, 2017 at 11:00 a.m., followed by a potluck at the church.
