Lisa P Tuyes

Lisa Preis Tuyes of New Orleans, LA passed away on October 8, 2022 at the age of 67. She was born on May 17, 1955 in New Orleans, LA where she grew up. She worked as a Deputy Clerk at the Jefferson Parish courthouse for 19 years.

She is preceded in death by her parents, John Fabre Preis and Bernice Smith Preis, her in-laws,Charles Donald Tuyes and Rose Curcio Tuyes and brother in-law Donald Glenn Tuyes. She is survived by her loving husband, Wayne Charles Tuyes of 45 years, her 2 daughters, Jennifer Tuyes Spottswood, her husband Jason, their 3 children, Ava , Ella and Luke and Aimee Tuyes Anthony, her husband Michael and their two daughters Reagan and Rylie. Also survived by her 3 sisters, Tana Preis Glockner, Debbie Preis Boudreaux, her husband George, Johnie Lynn Preis Letsch and her husband Danny and sister-in-law Debbie Tuyes Hogue and her husband Steve.

Lisa was a true warrior, a strong woman who fought until the very end of her 15 year battle with Cancer and NEVER complained. She was the most gentle, kind hearted person who would do anything to bring a smile to someone's face. Heaven gained a true angel that we will NEVER forget! The family would like to thank their friends and family for all of the love, care and compassion they showed Lisa in her final days.

Family and friends are invited to attend the Visitation and Memorial Mass at St. Ann Catholic Church at 4921 Meadowdale St. Metairie, LA 70006 on Friday, October 21st, 2022. Visitation with the family will begin at 10:00 am followed by the Memorial Mass at 12:00 pm.
