Lionel Joseph Bivalacqua

Lionel Joseph Bivalacqua, age 75, passed away on August 13th, 2016 in his, home surrounded by his loved ones, while under the care of Notre Dame Hospice. Lionel, son of late Salvadore J. Bivalacqua Jr. and Josephine Ambrosia Bivalacqua, brother of late Salvadore J. Bivalacqua III and Eddie Bivalacqua, is survived by his two daughters, Gina Bivalacqua Caronia and Nicole Bivalacqua, his sister Shirley B. Weil, as well as his step-son, Lynn Mapp, his son-in-law, Chris Caronia, and his four grandchildren, Christopher, Brittany, Jordan, & Parker Caronia. Mr. Bivalacqua was a Navy veteran, a retired Millwright, local 1102, and a retired member of the Carpenters Local Union, 729. A celebration of life will be held Saturday, August 20th, from 2PM until 6PM at Quarter View Restaurant, 613 Clearview Pkwy in Metairie, LA, in the ball room. A Celebration Toast and balloon release will begin at 3:30PM.
