Born on July 5, 1948, Linda Fleetwood touched the lives of those around her with her strength, resilience, and unwavering spirit. Despite facing the challenges of her illness, she remained a beacon of hope and inspiration to all that knew her. Throughout her life Linda embodied kindness and compassion, her selflessness and generosity alongside her “tell it like it is” personality knew no bounds. Leaving an indelible mark on the hearts of friends and family alike. Her legacy of love will be cherished by all who had the privilege in sharing in her journey.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Arsenio Jimenez, Sr., and Doris Laneri Jimenez; one brother; Arsenio “Jimmy” Jimenez, Jr. and two sisters; Sharon Harness and Naomi Baggett.
Linda is survived by her loving family, including her husband of 58 years Clarence Fleetwood; her daughter, Terri Fleetwood Cuevas (Maranda), her son Chip Fleetwood (Tara), and her stepdaughter, Kelly Fleetwood (Tiffany); eight grandchildren, Amanda Fleetwood, Ashley Fleetwood, Lynda Faciane (Brandon), Brandon Clemons (Brooke), Cade Fleetwood, Brennan Brouillette, Landon Beech (Saige), and Addison Brouillette; thirteen great grandchildren, Tre, Lilly, Baela, Brynlee, Clayton, Ty, Colton, Leilani, Brooklyn, Benson, Briggs, McCoy, Berklee, and two great-great grandchildren; Bowen and Easton; two sisters, Valerie LeBlanc (Paul), Donna Jimenez; two brothers Danny Jimenez Sr. (Diana) and Alvin Jimenez Sr.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, January 11, 2025, from 9:30 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at St. Luke the Evangelist Catholic Church, 910 Cross Gates Blvd, Slidell, La. followed by a Funeral Mass beginning at 11:00 a.m. Refreshments will be at 12:00 p.m. in the fellowship hall
