Lena Trentacosta Huff

Lena was a cherished member of the community, a beloved family member, and a friend to many. Her absence leaves an irreplaceable void in the hearts of all who knew and loved her.

Born August 17, 1938, in New Orleans, LA, Lena is preceded in death by her husband Herman W. Huff Jr., her parents Giuvanina Pagano and Bernard Trentacosta, her sister Mary J. Lawson and brother Emile J. Trentacosta.

Family was at the heart of Lena's life. Her memory will be cherished by her daughters Susan H. Pitre (Simon) and Pamela H. Mullen (Robert). She was Maw-Maw to Roy Moran IV(Kylea), Craig Moran(Nicole), Christina Frught(Ryan), and Gaw-Gaw to Ryan Hughes(Sarah), Amanda Carrasco(Micheal), and Rebecca Mullen. She was GiGi to Kaylon M, Cadence F, Reagan C, Heaven M, Craig M, Reagan M, Evan H, Brewer M, Grayson H, Oliver F, Emory H, and Camille C. who all brought immense joy to her life.

Lena will be remembered for her unwavering dedication to her family and friends. She touched the lives of many with her kind-heart, thoughtfulness, and her spunk. She leaves behind a legacy that will endure through the countless hearts she has touched.

Family and friends are invited to gather to celebrate Lena's extraordinary life and to share memories of the joy and love she brought to all who knew her. A memorial service to honor Lena's life will be held on February 14, 2025, at Our Lady of Prompt Succor Church, Chalmette, LA. Visitation will begin at 11:00 am and a mass will follow at 12:00. Interment will follow at St Vincent de Paul Cemetery #3, Tomb #26.
