Kenneth Wayne Klish, lovingly known as papa, age 75, passed away peacefully on September 1, 2026. He leaves behind a lifetime of memories and a family who will forever carry his memory in their hearts.
Kenneth is survived by his four children, Dawn Leal, Bowe Klish and wife Staci, Kenny Klish Jr, and Tim McCrocklin and wife Kim; 10 grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren.
He proudly served his country in the United States Army as a Military Police Officer. He was known for his quick wit, playful sense of humor, and ability to make those around him laugh. He loved animals, enjoyed his familiar routines, and found joy in the simple things in life. He also loved gathering family and friends for BBQ cookouts, good food, and good times. His love of cooking and entertaining was a tradition he has passed down to his children and one that will continue to be enjoyed for generations to come.
Though much of his early family history remains unknown, the story of Kenneth’s life continues through the generations he leaves behind. His greatest legacy will be found in his children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and the memories shared by those who knew him.
Kenneth was preceded in death by his beloved daughter, Tracy, and grandson, Tavish. He is now reunited with them, together once again and at peace.
May he rest peacefully, knowing that his life mattered, his memory will endure, and he will forever remain a part of the family he leaves behind.
Forever loved. Forever remembered. Forever missed.
Family and friends are invited to attend a Graveside Service at Dallas-Fort Worth National Cemetery, 2000 Mountain Creek Parkway, Dallas, TX 75211 on Friday, October 16th at 9:15 AM.
