Kelly Treadaway

"Kelly" Telesphore Treadaway, aka "Swamp Man", passed away Saturday, February 24, 2018, at the age of 83 years. Kelly was preceded in death by his father, Nicole Treadaway and his mother, Edna Phillips Treadaway. Brother of the late Herman Treadaway, Laura Treadaway, and Helen "Zoot" Treadaway Creppel (Dan). Kelly is survived by his daughter, Kellie Treadaway Werrell (Jeffery), his step son, Walter "Scott" Wilson, and his step daughters, Terressa Wilson Smith and Kimberly Wilson Bourgeois. He is also survived by his sister, Lillian Treadaway, brother Israel "King" Treadaway, three granddaughters and one great grandson. He was a Veteran of the U.S. Army.

A celebration of life gathering will be held on March 10, 2018 at the Visitor Center of Jean Lafitte National Park Pavilion, located at 6588 Barataria Blvd. There will be a memorial walk, for those that want to participate, from 11:00 A.M. til 12:00 noon. The Celebration of Life and visitation will begin at 12 noon until 2:00 P.M.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Kelly's honor to the upcoming Lafitte Veterans' Celebration.
