John Henderson Counce III

John Henderson Counce III passed on Tuesday October 10, 2017, at his home. Jack was forty-four years old. He was the beloved husband of Carolina Counce and father of John (Jack Jack) Henderson Counce IV. Beloved son of Yvonne Nell and Dr. John (Jack) Henderson Counce II, brother of Dr. Ashley Counce Bloodworth (Clay Bloodworth). He is also survived by his aunts, Yvette Nell Sturgis (Dr. George Madison Sturgis) and Sandra Nell Neel, and uncle, Lt. Col. Ret. U.S.A.F. Victor W. A. Nell. Jack was a loving and adoring father to his son and stepsons, J.P. and Nico Paulin. He enjoyed many hours at the playground with his three boys. They were the lights of his life. He left us with so much to remember. He had an enormous heart and was an amazing friend. He would do anything to help a friend. He was gorgeous beyond description, wild and silly, ridiculous and irreverent, loving and giving, and selfless. To know Jack was to love him. Through this sad time, his friends and family share this devastating sorrow of his passing but also the feeling that we all have been blessed to have known him. Please remember his gracious heart, his beautiful smile, and know that he is at peace now looking upon us with love. Family and friends are invited to attend a Mass to celebrate his life at Our Lady of Guadalupe Church, 411 North Rampart St, New Orleans, LA, on Thursday, October 19, 2017 at 11:00 A.M.
