Jody Vidrine Sr.

With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Jody Vidrine Sr, who peacefully went to sleep on Sunday, April 20th at 69 years old. Jody Vidrine was born on May 1, 1955 and was a lifelong resident of Metairie, LA. He was a loving husband to Cyndee Rodrigue Vidrine for 48 years and a cherished father to Calli Vidrine Kron (Clint), Jody Vidrine Jr (Holly), and Cammi Vidrine Bradberry (Bobby).

A dedicated owner of Lucky Cue for the past 27 years, Jody enjoyed his customers and employees, leaving a lasting impact on many. But his greatest love was his family. He was known for his kindness, and love for his family.

Jody was a true inspiration, always encouraging us to be good people and kind to others. He taught us the importance of family, work, and to never give up on our dreams.

He is survived by his loving wife, Cyndee, his children, Calli, Jody, and Cammi, his grandchildren, Austin, Addison, Carley, Caroline, Andrew, Cohen, 5 Bonus Grandchildren, his sister Pamela Vidrine Lobell (Ricky), his brother Neal Vidrine, his in- laws Craig and Elizabeth Rodrigue, Cary and Pati Rodrigue, Cathy Perilloux, Chris and Claudia Rodrigue, and an abundance of nieces, nephews, family members, and friends that he loved dearly. He was predeceased by his father, Ferriol Vidrine, his mother, Nettie Joubert Vidrine, his brother, Michael Vidrine Sr, his mother-in-law, Rose Mary Rodrigue, and his brother-in-law Chuck Perilloux.

A private celebration of Jody's life will be held at a later date.
