Joan “Johnnie” Kampen Ganucheau passed away on Wednesday, January 11, 2017. Johnnie was born in New Orleans, LA and has been a resident of Harahan, LA for fifty years. Wife of the late Edmond H. Ganucheau. Survived by her five children, Meg Amacker, Joan Pinero (husband, Brian), Barbara Luikart (husband, Will), Eddie Ganucheau, and Jimmy Ganucheau. Also survived by eleven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Predeceased by one grandchild. Johnnie loved “blue light specials” at K-Mart; she spent her time swimming at Elmwood Fitness, and loved LSU and New Orleans Saints Football. Most of all, Johnnie loved her family; she was a beautiful and caring mom and grandma. Relatives and friends are asked to join in a Celebration of Johnnie’s Life on Saturday, January 21, 2017 from 6 PM until 9 PM at The Kamp Bar, 2317 Hickory Ave., Harahan, LA 70123.
