Jay Dodsworth Orman

He was born in Fresno, California, on May 6, 1929. He was preceded in death by his wife Ellen Ellery Orman, in 2019, two daughters Jennifer Anne Orman & Stephanie Anne Orman in 1953, and a son Jay Dodsworth Orman Jr. in 1962. He is survived by his three children, daughters Lisa Helmond Olson (Randall), New Orleans, LA and Lori Anne Yeomans (Paul), San Francisco, CA, and son William Orman, Palm Springs, CA, two granddaughters Elizabeth Anne Yeomans and Emily Anne Yeomans, Los Angeles, CA, and grandson Jay Henry Orman Derr, Baton Rouge, LA, sister Mary Orman Jones, Helena, MO, and numerous nieces and nephews.

Jay was a very loving and generous man. During his lengthy cotton career he moved with his family all over the world: Wee Waa and Sydney, Australia, São Paulo, Brazil, Geneva, Switzerland.

The last 18 years of his life were spent in Baton Rouge and New Orleans, Louisiana with his wife, his daughter, his grandson, and his West Highland terrier, Remi.
