She was preceded in death by her husband of 45 years, Joseph M. Critcher, her daughter, Charlotte Critcher Weeks, her son-in-law John Franklin Weeks II, her parents, Dr. & Mrs. N.F. Coulon, and 7 siblings. Mrs. Critcher was a proud veteran of WWII and enjoyed a long career as a Registered Nurse. She retired from Southside Regional Medical Center in Petersburg, VA in the late 1990’s. The family wishes to thank Kathy Clay (caregiver and friend of nearly a decade) and the staff at Poydras Home for their kind care and thoughtfulness. A Memorial Mass will be held on Saturday, March 25, 2017 at 10 AM at the Church of the Sacred Heart Parish, 9300 Community Lane, South Prince George, VA, 23805, where Mrs. Critcher was a member for many years. Friends and family will gather at a reception to be held at the church immediately following the service. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to your favorite charity in her name.
