Ivan Allen Tillman Jr. passed away on Thursday, May 19, 2016 at East Jefferson General Hospital in Metairie, LA. Loving father of Chase Tillman of Denver, Co and Brooke Simms (husband, Chris) of Tampa, FL. Grandfather of Olivia Simms. Son of Helen Sue Tillman and the late Ivan Tillman, Sr. Brother of Karen Phelps, Dean Tillman, and the late Sandy Monk. Ivan's passions were spending time with his children and grandchild, spending time outdoors, especially at the beach, and his work as a senior designer in the engineering industry. Ivan's family will hold a small private service on the beach. In memory of Ivan, the family requests that a donation be made to the American Cancer Society, www.cancer.org.
