He was born and lived in El Salvador, C.A., then lived in New York and New Jersey before moving to Kenner, LA about 35 years ago.
Hector was known for playing soccer, dancing, and performing all around the New Orleans area as a singer for bands such as Los Sagitarios, Grupo Kaibil and Orquesta Recinos.
He is survived by his wife, Judit Recinos; children Hector, Susana, Erick, and Chris Recinos; five grandchildren; and siblings Edmundo Recinos, Aida Recinos and Celina Recinos Portillo. He is also survived by his beloved dog, Leila.
Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Funeral Mass at Divine Mercy Church, 4337 Sal Lentini Parkway, Kenner, LA, on Wednesday, February 13, 2019 at 1:00 p.m.
Arrangements were entrusted to the Neptune Society of New Orleans.
