Hazel was a stay-at-home mom for many years, then worked in the insurance field and owned an Allstate agency before retiring. Hazel’s life work, however, was her family. She was a room mother, Girl Scout leader, was always at a ball park or soccer field or driving to ballet lessons. Hazel loved all things New Orleans: parades, po’boys, the Saints, and Five O’Clock cocktails.
A Celebration of Life service will take place on December 28, 2024 at 10:00 a.m. at the Free Church of the Annunciation, 4505 S. Claiborne Ave., New Orleans, LA. To honor a colorful lady, please no black. Hazel would want this to be a true celebration of life and she loved bright colors. The brighter the clothes you wear, the happier you will make her.
