Gloria D'Amico Jensen

Mrs. Gloria D'Amico Jensen of New Orleans passed away after a brief illness on Monday December 12, 2016 at the age of 85. Beloved wife of the late Jack C. Jensen, Sr. Daughter of the late Joseph and Yvonne D'Amico. She was the loving mother of Jan Chauvin(Joey), Jon Jensen(Debbie), Jack, Jr.(Cindy), Jerry(Glenda), Jody(Terri). Sister to the late Salvador D'Amico(Helen), Delores Francingues(Joe). Grandmother to Bryan Chauvin(Jessica), Jason Jensen, Jon Jensen, Jr.,(Stacey) Jesse Jensen, Stephen, Stephanie and Stacy Trainor, Christian Jensen(Anna), Katie Peralta(Emilio), Rachel Jones(Dan), Mary Hernandez(Carlos), David Jensen(Megan), Claire O'Dell(Phil), Monica Jensen, Megan Jensen, Kelli Brewer(Mark), Great grandmother to Seth, Cameron, Joey Adalyn, Lexi, Nyrie, Armin, Teresa, Cecilia, Elena, Tomas, Sam, Henry, Charlie, Isaiah, Rose, Jack, Cameron, and Keller. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews who they affectionately called GoGo. MiMi, as we all called her after she became a grandmother, was full of life and loved people. She and Paw Paw worked hard their entire lives and volunteered at many functions to make sure the kids had a great education, good work ethic, and treated people fairly. MiMi was a manicurist for many years at the Chandelier Beauty Salon and later retired spending many years playing golf. She will be missed by friends and family alike. Relatives and friends are invited to a 3:30PM Memorial Mass at St. Mary Magdalen Church, 6421 West Metairie Ave. Metairie, LA. on Thursday, December 15th.
